Update From William Pratney: “Winkie has a fever, and elevated heart rate once again. It’s not too bad, but keep praying. He was again responsive when we rubbed his feet tonight. Thank you for your continued prayers of faith. From Fae Pratney: We’re still getting used to taking our shoes off every two seconds. Koreans even have plastic shoes you’re supposed to put on for the bathrooms. We appreciate sleeping on cot beds, because most Koreans sleep on the heated floors. Everybody drinks bottled water, and we’ve just bought a couple of crates. We’re drinking Ginsing tea, which Koreans say is their coffee. We’re well acquainted with their famous Kim Chee now- their hot peppered cabbage, the ingredients of which appear similar to Winkie’s “Master Tonic”. We have been taken out for some Korean meals, and are improving our ability with chopsticks. The Koreans are very polite- they’re always bowing incessantly. They have been gracious and kind to us. The money scared us at first because the Won has such large figures- whereas $10,000 Won is roughly $10 US. We are praising God for this room we have (courtesy of Dr. Lim) and all we have to pay are the utilities. It takes us about 5 minutes if we run to get from our apartment to the hospital entrance. Onyong hi sayo! Goodbye! and God bless you all!” Posted by Israel Anderson
